Commissioner Todd Jennings

Biography

Commissioner Todd Jennings and his wife, Rachel, moved to Belleair in 2011 and have three children: Grayson, Evelyn and Ellis. Outside of his duties on the Commission, Commissioner Jennings is an attorney and shareholder with Macfarlane, Ferguson & McMullen, P.A., the oldest continuously operating law firm in Tampa Bay. He earned is undergraduate degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee and his law degree from the University of Florida. Prior to practicing law, he served as a nuclear-trained Navy officer aboard the ballistic missile submarine, U.S.S. Maryland.

Commissioner Jennings also serves as an appointee of the Governor on the Board of Directors for the Florida Endowment Foundation for Vocational Rehabilitation (the ABLE Trust) and as a commissioner on the Second District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission. He previously served eight years on the Sixth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission and has served in a variety of other organizations including the Suncoast Tiger Bay Club, LIFT Academy Development Council, the Pinellas County Charter Review Commission, and the Rotary Club of Clearwater.  He was recently appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to serve on the Pinellas County Council for Persons with Disabilities.
