Youth Advisory Council

What is the Youth Advisory Council?

The Town of Belleair Youth Advisory Council is a diverse group of teens who are investing themselves in the Town of Belleair. Teens will have the opportunity to partner with the offices of the Mayor, Town Commissioners, Town Manager, Town Clerk, and directors of the various Town departments.

Our Goal

The goal of the Youth Advisory Council is to create a space for teens in the community to develop as individuals alongside the Town. Teens will gather to discuss matters related to the youth and the Town as a whole, providing perspective and hands-on dedication to Town-wide initiatives and improvements. These teens will undergo development in leadership, community stewardship, and self-refinement through a year-round commitment to volunteer efforts, board meetings, and collaboration with town departments, as well as other organizations.

The Youth Advisory Council will work to raise the next generation of leaders in our society by supporting their development from the foundation upwards.
