Congratulations Troy, Ryan, and Scott from the Public Works Department for winning employee of the month for February. These employees went above-and-beyond last month by volunteering to tackle the very messy clean-out of Belleair Creek. Specifically, Troy, Ryan, and Scott stood in mud up to their knees all month, cutting down "dinosaur-sized" vines to clear space for a drainage system clogged with 25 years of growth! In the 1,000 feet covered so far, more than 20 tons of debris have been cleared, largely by hand and with little help from equipment due to the orientation of the creek. This has been a challenging yet amazing site to behold and all three should be very proud of the work effort they have shown in service to the Town.
