Citizens have received phone calls from someone impersonating “Sgt. Jim Cooper of the Belleair Police Department.” While we do have a Sgt. Jim Cooper, he did NOT make these calls. The impersonator is asking for documentation and information. Do not give these people any personal or business information. Fortunately, our citizens did not give out any information. Great thinking on their part!
