We couldn't be more proud of our Town's teens! On Tuesday, January 15, the Belleair Teen Council was presented with not one, but TWO trophies from the Florida League of Cities for winning TWO prestigious, state-wide competitions in 2018.
In March, the teens placed first in the League's "Youth Council Community Service Project Contest" for their work on their Socksgiving charity project in 2017. That year, the teens collected and donated 683 pairs of socks for persons of all ages who were in need in our local community.
And later (in the fall of 2018), the Teen Council produced and submitted a video titled #WeLoveBelleair for the League's 2018 "Youth Council Video Competition" and was selected as one of five winners of that contest. Be sure to watch the video here: https://bit.ly/2Hg1rJC.
Congratulations to our exemplary group of teenagers for everything they've accomplished and everything they will - we're looking ahead to a very bright future.
