New, proposed utility rates are pending approval by the Commission at two public meetings at Town Hall on Tuesday, September 5 at 5:30 PM and Monday September, 18 at 5:30 PM. Resident feedback is welcome.
Water rates are proposed to increase by 58% as of October 1, 2023, which is the first rate increase in 6 years. The reason for this increase is the change from the well production and treatment of the Town's water to a wholesale water purchase from Pinellas County, which distributes Tampa Bay Water.
