Belleair's Community Outreach Program for COVID-19
About the Program
There is no greater priority to the Town of Belleair than the health, safety, and welfare of our residents. As we monitor the spread of the pandemic Novel COVID-19, we recognize that we have a duty and an opportunity to step up and help our neighbors.
As a result, we have developed a Community Outreach Program to assist our residents most affected and at risk of COVID-19. As the risk factor for adults over the age of 60 is higher than any other demographic, this program is designed for our older adults who are isolated and/or practicing social distancing. Through Belleair’s Community Outreach Program, residents can place orders at local retailers and a Town employee will pick those orders up and deliver them to the resident at no additional charge.
Please note that while Town staff will respond and assist when at all possible, this service is not monitored 24/7. For emergencies, always, dial 911.
The Community Outreach Program is designed for older adults (or anyone otherwise vulnerable to COVID-19) who may have difficulty or concerns over traveling and shopping at stores themselves.
Participants must be able to pay for the supplies either over the phone or online prior to delivery AND must be willing to give our Town employee access to pick up their orders.
What are Essential Items?
Essential items include prescription medications, non-perishable foods, grocery items, hygiene products, and paper goods. Please note some items may not be available. We are not able to pick up alcohol.

Help Us Spread the Word
Even in a time of need, some of us don’t ask for help. Please help us help the people in your life who may need a little extra assistance but are hesitant to ask. If you can provide us with a phone number of someone in need, we can take it from there.
I am a graduating senior from the University of Tampa working for the Town of Belleair Parks and Recreation Department as a Special Events Intern. With the cancellation of events, I have turned my focus toward the Belleair community during this time in need. I am here to assist you by helping place orders online at local retailers and picking up those orders and delivering them to your home. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
