The Park & Tree Board works closely with Town staff and the Parks and Recreation Department in preserving the natural aesthetics of Belleair. As a designated “Tree City USA,” Belleair and the Park & Tree Board also celebrate Arbor Day each at the Town’s annual Springfest & Arbor Day Celebration.
Membership
The Park & Tree Board consists of seven members and is comprised of citizens from various professional backgrounds.
- Term of office: Two years, staggered
- Meetings: Second Tuesday of January, March, May, July, and September at 5:00 pm. Additional meetings scheduled as needed
- Staff: Ricky Allison (Director of Public Works, Parks & Recreation) and Mike Shumaker (Public Services Coordinator)
