Upcoming Commission Meeting Links

The next Commission meeting is on Tuesday, October 20 at 6:00 pm. This meeting will be held virtually AND with a socially distanced in-person option. There are four ways to attend.

Looking Ahead

Several special topic meetings and discussions will be heard by the Town of Belleair Commission in October and November. Postcards with this information will be mailed to all Belleair doorsteps in September. Please check back here for meeting links the Friday before these meetings.

  • MAJOR EVENT SPECIAL RELIEF PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THE PELICAN WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP
    A special event application will be heard at two meetings for the LPGA event scheduled for November 16 - 22. To learn more about the Pelican Women’s Championship, visit www.pelicanlpga.com.
    Meeting dates: Tuesday, 10/6 at 6:00 pm and Tuesday, 10/20 at 6:00 pm

  • COMMUNITY DISCUSSION ON POINSETTIA ROAD CLOSURE
    Over the past few months, the Commission has heard concerns about the re-opening of Poinsettia Road at the Pinellas Trail following the completion of Largo’s Rosery Road Project. The Commission would like to hear feedback from residents on options for this intersection.

  • COMMUNITY DISCUSSION ON REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER TREATMENT PLANT CONVERSION
    Belleair’s strategic plan identifies seeking long term solutions for Belleair water supply as a high-priority goal. Last month, staff received a cost estimate to convert our plant to reverse osmosis and assessed its fee impacts. As such, the Commission is seeking input on whether or not to begin the conversion.
    Meeting dates: Thursday, 11/5 at 4:30 pm and Tuesday, 11/10 at 6:00 pm
