Fountain Square Park held its grand opening on April 25, 2016, complete with a Commission ribbon-cutting ceremony. After it was in need of renovation for many years, Fountain Square Park’s got a face lift, which was a momentous achievement for our town and for the residents of Fountain Square.

Based on recommendations from residents, a beautiful fountain was installed at Fountain Square Park. The main feature of the space is its sugar kettle fountain and seating wall in the center of the park. Additionally, Fountain Square Park features new, vibrant landscaping which includes fresh sod, small shrubs, a live oak, two crape myrtles, a red maple, and a yellow tabebuia tree.
